Terms of Service

These terms apply to recovery and transport work booked with Ark Road Recovery. By booking a job with us, you agree to them.

Quotes and price. Quotes are based on the information you give us about the pickup and drop-off locations, the motorcycle, and whether it is running. The final price may change if the details on the day differ significantly from what was described (for example access problems, a non-runner, or a different location).

Your responsibilities. You must provide accurate details and have the legal right to arrange recovery or transport of the motorcycle. Collection and delivery points must be reasonably accessible and safe for loading and unloading. Please remove personal belongings and loose items before we arrive. Tell us in advance if the bike is a non-runner, has unusual dimensions, or needs special handling.

Condition recording. We record a video of the motorcycle before we handle it and again on delivery. This documents the condition of the bike (including the registration plate). Any visible damage or issues should be noted at the time of delivery.

Waiting and access. We allow 15 minutes free waiting time at collection or delivery. After that, waiting charges may apply. If safe access is not possible, or if we are unable to complete the collection or delivery for reasons outside our control, a failed collection/delivery charge (up to the full quoted price) may apply.

Cancellations and wasted journeys. Once the driver is on the way or has arrived, the full quoted price or call-out fee is payable. This applies to both planned jobs and emergency call-outs.

Payment. For emergency recovery, payment is due on collection or completion of the job. Payment terms for planned transport will be confirmed when the booking is accepted.

Insurance and liability. We take reasonable care with every motorcycle. Our liability is subject to our insurance arrangements. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for personal items or accessories left with the bike unless we have expressly agreed to carry them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Keys and documents. Please ensure keys and any important documents are available and securely handed over. We are not responsible for keys or documents that are not provided or are left unsecured.
