Ark Road Recovery("we", "us", "our") collects the personal information you provide when you contact us or request a quote, including your name, contact details, and information about your motorcycle and the job you need help with.
We also record a video of the motorcycle before we handle it and again on delivery. This is done solely to document the condition of the bike and may include its registration plate.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out recovery or transport work, process payment, and meet our legal and insurance obligations. We rely on this being necessary to provide the service you've asked for, our legitimate interest in running the business safely (including the condition videos), and our legal obligations for accounting, tax and insurance records. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for marketing.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us run the website, handle emails, process payments, or provide insurance, but only where necessary to deliver the service or meet our obligations. We keep enquiry and quote information for up to 12 months if it does not become a job, and job records (including videos) for up to 6 years to meet accounting, tax and insurance requirements.
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or (in certain circumstances) restricted or deleted, subject to our legal and insurance record-keeping requirements. Contact us at contact@arkroadrecovery.co.uk or on 07542 798138 for any of these requests.
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and roughly how people find us. This only runs if you accept it via the cookie banner shown when you first visit; if you reject it, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
